      Guide to Supplying Timber in Different Lengths

      1. Pro-Rated Supply (Same Meterage, Different Number of Lengths)

        If we supply timber in different lengths but keep the total meterage the same, we must get the customer’s approval before accepting the order.

        Contact the customer with the revised lengths and wait for written confirmation (email or call log).

        Only process the order once approval is received and noted.

      2. Longer Lengths Supplied (Same Number of Lengths)

        If the number of lengths stays the same but the timber is longer than ordered, we can notify the customer after the order is allocated.

        Let the customer know they’re receiving more timber at no extra cost

        Record this update on the order for transparency.

      3. Key Point

        Always record any changes and customer communications in the order system.
